Program Synopsis

The objective of  Master of Education program is to equip you with up-to-date knowledge and specialized skills in order to enhance your professional career as well as to provide you continuous personal improvement in today's world of academic. Due to the current shift towards knowledge-based economy, there is a growing demand for highly-educated teachers or educational leaders to manage schools and institutions more effectively. Educational expertise and credibility are prerequisites of schools and institutions with raised academic standards in their need to adapt to the ever-changing educational scenarios.

Entry Criteria: Bachelor's of Education; OR Bachelor's Degree with Diploma in Education; OR Bachelor's Degree with Diploma or Certificate in Teaching.

Note: Applicants with other relevant qualifications can be considered on case-by-case basis for review for admission

Tuition Fee: Tuition fee per module - Mrf 5,000 Tuition fee for the program - Mrf 70,000

Post Graduate Diploma of Teaching      

 

Program Synopsis

The Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT) is a 6 months teacher preparation program for students who already hold a tertiary degree. The program offers practical, school-based learning and draws on the latest research into effective teaching methods; ensuring graduates are well equipped to meet the challenges of a teaching career. Courses within the program will challenge participants to use their knowledge, expertise and experience to design learning environments that will engage students in the learning process and cater for a variety of learning styles. Participants learn to cooperatively and critically plan, design, implement and review relevant syllabi including developing teaching and learning strategies and curriculum materials. Graduates will have developed a personal theory of teaching that fully considers the role of teachers in the promotion of a socially just and inclusive society.

Duration: 2 Semesters

Entry Criteria: Bachelor's Degree

Intake: September / May /  January  

Course Fee: Mrf 18,000

Graduate Diploma of Teaching      

 

Program Synopsis

The Graduate Diploma of Teaching (GradDipT) is a one-year teacher preparation program for students who already hold a tertiary degree. The program offers practical, school-based learning and draws on the latest research into effective teaching methods; ensuring graduates are well equipped to meet the challenges of a teaching career. Courses within the program will challenge participants to use their knowledge, expertise and experience to design learning environments that will engage students in the learning process and cater for a variety of learning styles. Participants learn to cooperatively and critically plan, design, implement and review relevant syllabi including developing teaching and learning strategies and curriculum materials.
