Governing body

Villa College is committed to exhibiting best practices. Villa College conducts its operations in accordance with the values identified by the College Management Board, with the guidance of Chairman of Villa Group of Companies, and the concerned Government authority.

Chairman: The Chairman of Group of Companies is Mr. Qasim Ibrahim (M. Maafannu Villa, Male').

The College Management Board: The College Management Board is the executive governing body of the College. It exercises all powers, duties and functions conferred upon it by the parent company. It has general control over the conduct of the affairs of the College. It is responsible for the management and administration of the revenue and property of the College. Presently, the College is working on the formation of the

College Council: Once the formalities are completed the College Management Board will be replaced by the College Council.

The Academic Board: The Academic Board is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards in learning, teaching and research.

The College Board consists of the following members:

• Vice-Rector
• Registrar
• Chief Financial Officer
• Deans of Faculties
• Campus Directors
• Representative from Lecturers
• Students' Representative

The Central Administration: Central administration of the College will look after all major administrative and financial matters. The central administration is headed by vice Rector and assisted by Chief Financial Officer, Human Resource Manager and Marketing Manager.

Faculties: Faculties are headed by Deans. Each Faculty has a Faculty Board which has the responsibility of deliberating on academic matters. The Faculty has the responsibility of managing and administering academic programs offered by the Faculty and addressing all issues concerning teaching, learning and assessments.
