Addressing the significance of this achievement during his welcome remarks, Vice Rector Dr Ali Najeeb reflected on the institutional journey, noting that the five-star rating from a trusted global authority confirms that the teaching standards and administrative framework of Villa College meet international benchmarks. He emphasised that this milestone represents a historic success for the wider higher education sector in the Maldives. Building upon this foundation, Dr Najeeb also introduced the upcoming Alumni Mentoring Initiative during the event.
